An agreement signed between the former health minister, Dr. Bassem Naim, and head of the Turkish Green Crescent Society, Prof. Ihsan Karaman, to establish a new branch of the Turkish organization in Gaza.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Prof. Karaman said in a statement published on the organization's Website on Sunday that the agreement came to make cooperation to open new Green Crescent Branch in Palestine.

He indicated that they will introduce Green Crescent to the world as a model NGO and they will lead to establish Green Crescent Society in all countries.

For his part Dr. Basim Naim stated that, they are impressed by Green Crescent mission and vision, saying that “addictive drugs are brought to Gaza by Israel and they sell drugs like medicine”.

“The youth is under threat in Palestine and we need foundations like Green Crescent to protect our youth”, he added.

Dr Naim visited the headquarters of the Turkish Organization, during his visit to Turkey accompanied with a Palestinian medical delegation from the Gaza Strip in a humanitarian mission to serve the Syrian refugees on the Turkish-Syrian border.
